As many of you most likely already know, there is quite a bit going on in Hollywood Studios this year next.
This summer saw the addition of Toy Story Land in an area adjacent to Toy Story Mania. We know can enter Andy’s backyard and instantly feel like we are the size of a toy! The land is amazingly themed and has some very neat design features. One of my fave’s is if you look at the ground occasionally as you go along you will find yourself walking through Andy’s shoe print. It really brings home the idea that you are suddenly the size of Andy’s friends Woody & Buzz.
The new rides in this land are Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers. Toy Story Mania has a new entrance within the land. Slinky Dog Dash is a family coaster that’s fun for everyone! And Alien Swirling Saucers takes you for a spin, literally, and might get you chosen by “the claw”.
Yummy treats can be found at Woody’s Lunch Box within the land. It’s a quick service meal location and offers the new Mobile ordering option to save time in line.
Coming up next year is the much anticipated Galaxy’s Edge for all our Star Wars fans!! Drawings for this land, as well as it’s couterpart in Disneyland, have most Star Wars fans on the edge of their speeder’s seat waiting for them to open.
